hello.
I may be a CPA by day, but I will always be a musician at heart. I’ve been playing the piano as long as I can remember, reaching Grade 10 in the Royal Conservatory before moving on to other professional (and less classical) pursuits.
I am a total “YES” person and always up for a challenge or an outside-the-box experience! This mindset has led me through some interesting musical experiences like performing at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration singing [an unrehearsed] “Song for the Mira” with Rita MacNeil, singing the Mexican anthem for an international transportation conference, hosting a one-(wo)man show to raise money for charity, teaching piano lessons to kids from ages 5 to 72, and providing the soundtrack to countless weddings, corporate events and fundraisers.
I’ve been playing piano and singing professionally for 20+ years and the bulk of my business is simply word of mouth (oh, the beauty of a small town!). Music is something I am SO passionate about - the way music can strike emotion or bring up memories is such an incredibly powerful tool and talent to covet and preserve. To me, there is nothing more magical than live music - being present in the moment and experiencing the art exactly as it arrives. Being classically trained enables me to play just about anything you can think of - so I can tailor my music to you & your vision.
I was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia and live on a little piece of paradise in the woods of Middle Sackville with my grand piano (Patsy), husband (Matt) and 2 fluffy corgis (Hudson & Rory).
